Panoramator - The story begins

I had an idea to create a pinhole camera that does not have vignetting and distortion towards the edges, this camera was supposed to use roll film and make 6x18cm pictures. The name came with the idea - Panoramator.

First one was made of wood

There were many flaws in the design and the results were not promising
Light leaks, too much tension on the film when advancing to the next slide, no idea how much the film did advance, etc.
Then I decided to make it from plastic, to change the rewind mechanism, add small window on the back of the camera to track the numbers on paper side of the roll film, added shutter on the front, tripod mount on the bottom, increase the robustness of  the construction by adding additional layer, this reduced the possibility of light leaks, and many other things.

This was the result 2

Even second version was produced and exterior improved

The tests started...

(to be continued)
