The Mask

Old digital photograph, was pretty popular at the time, I like it a lot, maybe one day will try to make better film photograph with the same idea.

Flesh vs. stone

I have an idea for series of photographs, but it does not go as planned. I made one digital photograph (diptych) and then I decided to make series of 10, but I made until now only one additional film photo and I didn't like it that much, but I hope to achieve better results in the future :)

Fog

I really like to take pictures in the fog, but when I look at them after, they don't impress me at all, and I rearly publish them.

Shipka

Bulgaria celebrates on March 3rd its National Holiday, one of the places where celebrations are held is  Shipka Pass, this picture is taken in 2010 or 2009, during the celebrations.

Most of the time I make second shot at the same place with several seconds/minutes difference, or with slight changes. These are two of those shots.

Another fancy camera

This one I call Pinholoid, isn't it fancy?

Playing with lines

On our trip to Normandie in December 2011 I made some experiments with lines on the seaside, here are the two results. Was even thinking of making a series of photographs with similar lines and composition.

Probably I should have tried to add a third frame, in order to make it more interesting experiment.

But in that case the shots would have been on the official page, not on this blog.

Found another one

While searching for pictures from made from the kitchen window, I found another one made on the same film but scanned earlier.

Yes, the small pointy thing in the back is the Eiffel tower.

Digital vs Film

Really don't want to admit it but sometimes digital photographs I made long time ago look better than the recent film shots, sometimes due to lack of time, not the proper light or just laziness. Here is an example with a portrait of a friend.

The digital one is manipulated cropped and made 5-6 years ago.

The light was to bright in the room I used for this shot, it was at noon, I put him to close to the window, and didn't had enough time to prepare the shot and many other things, but these are only excuses. The pictures talk for themselves.

Camera of a friend

This a historical shot of a camera at a local photo sale in Sofia, made a month before it was actually bought by a friend. Made using Canon Canonet QL 17 GIII
